And I'm getting ready for it! It's only a little over a month away, and I'm already feeling that spooky, candy-eating side of me appear. I'm already getting started by dragging down all of my decorations from my attic, and I've already got my pieces for my costume. It won't be long before I buy tons of candy! As for my costume, I think this is going to be my best year yet. What am I dressing as for Halloween this year, you ask?

Since I've been a fan of this movie for years, and I can't find a decent Elvira (Mistress of the Dark) costume to get here in time, I plan on going as Jareth the Goblin King from Jim Henson's 1986 creation "Labyrinth", for those of you who aren't familiar with the movie. Portrayed by none other than the wonderful David Bowie. I usually don't dress up for anything, but I felt that this was necessary for this year, since I found the most perfect wig! I'm very excited, I found an acrylic juggling ball for the crystal ball. I might even throw in some bubbles to do the bubble trick that Bowie does in the movie (for those of you who are familiar with the movie, hopefully you get this). I'm so excited for the whole night!

Another update is that I only have a bit more than a mere week before I see Skrillex live. Finally! I have a good friend coming all the way from another state to join me, and I couldn't be any more excited! Shortly after that it will be my birthday again, and I'm actually a little psyched about that, as well. Not usually something that excites me too much, but I actually feel pumped for this year!
